The NBA Live League currently has five teams available and as such, they are on the lookout for enthusiastic and dedicated GMs to fill those vacancies. If you're interested in signing up, please check out the NLL website for more information on the league and the vacant teams. |

The League 2K10 Vacancies |

The League 2K10 is two months into its 2009/2010 season and is currently advertising eight vacant teams: the Hawks, Rockets, Grizzlies, Bucks, Nets, Thunder, Sixers and Spurs. If you're interested in joining a sim league, you can find more info about the openings and current team rosters over at the league's website. |

Welcome to a brand new year here at the NLSC! I hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable New Year's Eve. As I mentioned in my last post for 2009, we're looking to get bigger and better in 2010. In the short term we're proceeding full steam ahead with our NBA Live 11 PC Petition and NBA Live 11 Wishlist, with an eye to improving our coverage for NBA Live 11 once the news starts rolling in. We'll also be looking to do more with our NBA Live Wiki as well continuing to support the patchmaking community and much more over the next twelve months. On behalf of the entire NLSC Team, thank you again for all your support, thank you for joining us for another year here at nba-live.com and I hope you enjoy what we have in store for 2010. New Year's Eve 2009 |

And so we find ourselves at the end of another year. Thanks to everyone who has supported us through 2009, as always we've had our ups and downs here at the NLSC but I feel we've had a much better year without some of the major technical issues of the past and as always, we've seen some excellent work by the patchmaking community. We're looking forward to getting bigger and better and doing some great things in 2010 (I'll squeeze in one last shameless plug for the PC Petition and Wishlist before the year is through!), thank you again for all your support and I hope you'll join us in 2010 for another year of NBA video gaming.
If you are planning on some big New Year's Eve celebrations, please be safe and responsible. I guess that brings us to the traditional New Year's Eve reminder, originated by Lutz all those years ago:
Remember the safest order of things on New Year's Eve:
1. Fireworks
2. Drink
And not vice-versa!

NBA Legends Sim League Update |

The NBA Legends Sim League has just started the Conference Finals for their 2008/2009 season and have also completed the draft lottery, with an eye to starting the offseason in two weeks. However, there are currently four teams available and the league would like to fill those vacancies in time for the free agency period. If you're interested in taking control of the Suns, Heat, Warriors or Blazers, please check out the league's website for more details. |

The NLL Ballers sim league currently has four vacant teams: the Charlotte Bobcats, Toronto Raptors, Los Angeles Clippers and Memphis Grizzlies. Jonathan Bender Add-Ons Released |

As I'm not exactly sure when I'll be releasing the next current roster updates (most likely sometime within the next couple of weeks), I've decided to release some quick add-ons for the updates that will add Jonathan Bender. The add-ons contain two different batch files, one intended to add Bender to a roster save and another customised for use with a Dynasty game. Please note that I do not take responsibility for any lost data, so make a backup of your saves before you apply the add-ons just in case you run into any problems.
